Context disappeared, assumptions filled the gaps, and before long, people were debating claims that bore little resemblance to the original facts.
Sep 15, 2026The City of Georgetown entered into a Parking Easement Agreement on Tuesday, September 8, with the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, so the entities can collaborate on a new parking garage that will be located at Ninth and Main streets. The agreement allows TML to use 200 parking spaces out of the planned 435 for employees and other needs. The parking garage will have four levels and cover approximately 184,000 square feet. There will also be retail on the ground floor of the garage.

In this phase of the project, the skate park and pump track, memorial pavilion, improvements to the equestrian center and updates to the Play Ranch were completed.
